Rebecca Britz - I’m from the Channel Islands and have had my camera since I was 15. My interest in photography stemmed from being outdoors constantly, which led to my desire to photograph my world in Jersey. My first camera was a canon AE1. I still work with a canon now. I am attracted to photographing perspective, line, form and abstract. I spent four weeks in Nepal tracing the steps of Sir Edmund Hilary. A portable solar charger and an image bank enabled me to take digital images then download them home at the end of the day. The solar charger charged all my batteries during this time giving me photographic freedom. New forest arts are interested in exhibiting my work on Everest in the Spring 2005.
